Abstract

Residues of propylene oxide in food wrappings and containers fumigated with its vapor were determined by means of gas chromatographic method.<BR>Results are shown in the Table 1.<BR>The residue was probably caused by being dissolved in the various plasticizers contained in plastic food wrapPings and containers or being absorbed on the surface of wood materials.
