Abstract

<p>From the tertiary boom of artificial intelligence, the term “artificial intelligence (AI)” frequently has begun to be listened even in the conversation in the street in the past two or three years. Due to advances in convolutional Deep Learning, the accuracy rate of ILSVRC has exceeded 95%. In addition, advanced researches to understand the concept of words by looking at images are becoming popular. Applied researches of AI to various fields have been rapidly accelerated, and they have led to paying attention to applying AI into patent information as a target. The utilization research into the prior art investigation by the USPTO came active. Even some providers have become popular to utilize AI for a Semantic Searching of patent information service. Here, we summarize a review for the special issue.</p>
