A 73-year-old man consulted our hospital for tongue tumor.<br>Pathology of the remove tongue tumor suggested of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (clear cell type). Post operatively CT and MRI demonstrated other masses in the choroidea and scapula.<br>Metastasis to the tongue arose 10 years after left total nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma.<br>Renal cell carcinoma metastasizing to the tongue is rare. However, if malignant tumor is suspected in the head and neck region, the possibility of metastatic tumor, especially from the urogenital tract, must be kept in mind.
