Abstract

The prognosis of maxillary sinus cancer was discussed in terms of staging and extension. The study of 178 cases of primary maxillary sinus cancer revealed that the prognosis was well correlated with treatment as far as the T-category was concerned. It was also revealed that posteriorly extending tumors differed in various aspects of treatment from other types. It is also revealed in the T3N0 cases that the treatment result differs in extending from case to case. Such findings were ascertained in the analysis of local control and causes of death as well.
