Abstract

Eleven patients with erythroderma were treated with tranexamic acid. Three patients were improved, but two of them relapsed. No responce to treatment was observed in eight patients. For the purpose of clarifying the relationship between erythroderma and the fibrynolytic enzyme system, plasminogen, plasmin and two antiplasmins in plasma were measured by lysine-sepharose affinity chromatography. In the patient most improved, the content of plasminogen and rapid type antiplasmin in plasma were less than the normal range.
