Description

We report the case of a 22-year-old man with delayed cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) rhinorrhea onset attributed to a head injury.<br> He developed CSF rhinorrhea and meningitis 15 years after injuring his head in a traffic accident.<br> Coronal computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) proved useful in determining the leakage site precisely.<br> We confirmed a fistula of the right cribriform plate in transnasal surgery, sealing it with fascia and fibrin glue.<br> The man has had no CSF rhinorrhea or meningitis recurrence in the 18 months of follow-up.<br>
