A 62-year-old woman, who had received radiation therapy for breast cancer at the age of 20, developed squamous cell carcinoma at the age of 57. She noticed a gradually enlarging nodule on her supraclavicular area about 5 years before her first consultation. When she visited our hospital, she had a 17×12cm irregular shaped ulcerated tumor on her right chest and shoulder. MRI examination revealed that the tumor had invaded the sternocleidomastoid muscle and scalenus anterior muscles. She was treated with combination chemotherapy with cisplatin and doxorubicin without significant effect. She died of massive bleeding from the tumor 8 months following the first visit to our hospital. [Skin Cancer (Japan)2007; 22: 166-169]
