抄録

The solvent extraction of some metal chelates containing SO₃H group with high molecular weight amines was investigated to increase the sensitivity and the selectivity in the determination of metals. Cobalt(III) chelate of 2-nitroso-l-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid and molybdenum(VI) chelate of Alizarin S were extracted. into organic phases with TOA-HNO₃ and tetradecyl-dimethylbenzyl-ammonium chloride, respectively. Toluene for the former complex and 1, 2-dichloroethane for the latter were used as organic solvents. The ex traction of the molybdenum complex gives a considerable increase in the sensitivity. Titanium and iron complexes of pyrocatechol-3, 4-disulfonic acid were also extractable into toluene with TOA.
