Abstract

When coal is used for boiler fuel, from a viewpoint of environmental problem especially laying emphasis on NOx removal of flue gas, there are many points of differencevand noteworthy matters as compared with heavy oil fuel.<BR>Most important points are that dust concentration is very high and fly ash character-istics are remarkably influenced by kind of coal.<BR>Attention to these points, the countermeasures are described in priority.
