Abstract
We report three cases of bronchial low-grade malignant tumor treated by bronchoplasty without lung resection. Case 1 was a 20-year-old man with bronchial carcinoid, and case 2 was a 23-year-old man with mucoepidermoid carcinoma. In both cases, bronchial sleeve resection and double-barreled reconstruction were performed. Case 3 was a 47-year-old woman with bronchial carcinoid. In this case, a bronchial partial resection and bronchoplasty were performed. All patients are currently alive without recurrence. This report suggests that bronchoplasty without lung resection should be indicated for some patients with bronchial low-grade malignant tumor.
