Abstract

The plants from Japan and Korea have been regarded as Streptolirion volubile from Himalaya. Our plants differ from this species in many respects. Here S. lineare is newly described based on the specimen collected from Tahara, Pref. Hiroshima, Japan. This species is known from West Japan, Korea, and North & Northeast China.
