Abstract

This paper aims at clarifying the significance of the archival activity in the organization, by use example for business archives. The history of the business operations is equal to the history of the practical use of the business records. Purpose and function of the business records are various. It has been included a function as the archives, and practiced in form with Company museum, Business history, Publicity work and Record management. That depends on whether its company has a consciousness of that their own activities are closely connected with social situation or not. In addition, we confirmed that these functions are not only an exhibition and the keeping of the physical medium but also various works. Now the movement about the archives begins its rise to power. We discovered that "information" is not synonymous with "physical medium including information". From this qualitative point of view, the investigation of various forms of the archival activity will become the necessary work in the future.
