Abstract

<p>Long-distance ferries are frequently used in domestic long-distance freight transportation, but their actual condition and merits are not well understood. In this paper, we analyzed features and tasks for long-distance ferries and other transportation agencies （railway, truck, domestic shipping）. And, we computed that the proportion of long distance truck （transport distance over 500km） using long-distance ferry is 15％, using multiple statistical materials.</p>
