抄録

The aim of this paper is to analyze the service areas of three sport clubs in a Japanese city using GIS. Figure 2 is colored in the contour map constructed on the basis of the number of members per square kilometer for each sport club. To analyze the inner structure of the service area, Figure 3 represents 3-D surface of service area using TIN of ARC/INFO, on which 2 km, 4 km, and 6 km circles are overlaid centering around each sport club. Table 2 shows the composition ratio of the number of members within each circle. To analyze the penetration into market by three sport clubs, the market penetration ratios for women aged twenties and men aged thirties are calculated and overlaid on their population surfaces as shown in Figure 4.
