Abstract

We analyzed the social factors of Japanese divorce ratio with using multiple regression methods for prefectural sanitary statistics in2001. The dependent variable is adopted the social factors of Japanese divorce ratio, and explaining variables are divided into five categories which are private-home's, economical, social, cultural and physiographical area. We choused 30 explaining elements from these five areas. First of all, we reconfirmed those variables to be making the normal distribution. And performing then Stepwise method and analyses of variance We finally obtained multiple regression equations containing some explaining variable. Main divorce promoting factors are unemployment ratio, average yearly temperature, working in double harness, the trend toward the nuclear family, and much of account. On the other hands, divorce repression factors are academic carrier, home ownership, income, the numbers of snow's days. We thought that politics of home ownership is more effects than that of that increasing workfare facility for working youths & women's.
