Abstract

<p>The friction measurement and evaluation of macromolecule gels has not been established yet. However for the application of the gels as industrial and medical materials, it should be established immediately. It is necessary to discuss the acquisition of frictional data of various high-performance macromolecule gels. Here we review our recent progress and mention its applicability to mechanical and medical systems.</p>
