Abstract
The purpose of CSCL (Computer Supported Collaborative Learning) is to support learners' knowledge-building through learners' interaction. Due to the fact that learners' interaction is a prerequisite for knowledge-building, we need to implement the function and the interface suitable to enhance interaction. Although profuse research aiming to develop and evaluate the CSCL technology has been conducted, it's desirable that its outcome is properly organized for researchers to refer to it in designing a new CSCL system. This paper is intended as a review of the previous CSCL research, which will be thoroughly considered and classified in terms of three view points: 'visualization', 'cueing' and 'contents'. Finally, the task of system design of CSCL is pointed out as one proposal.
