- Development and Evaluation of Teaching Materials of Instrumentation and Measurement Skill Using Practice Work in Mechanical Workshop

Recently, importance of hands-on education has been increased. On the other hand, the inspection of the product is not covered in depth as a result of that manufacturing is too much emphasized, especially in introducing lower grade students. Thus, we developed teaching materials of instrumentation and measurement skill mainly for first grade students, and evaluated the effectiveness. In this materials, measurement practice works and those textbooks are included according to the size of class. Moreover, it allowed to evaluate measurement skills by students objectively by assuring the precision of all works. In this paper, we report the result that this teaching materials was utilized in “Workshop Practice I” at first grade students for two years starting from fiscal 2015.
