抄録

The thermal stress problem has been discussed on a thick cylinder of the material, which does not obey Hooke's law, due to a temperature difference between the inner and outer surfaces under a steady heat flow and besides due to uniform hydraulic pressures on its surfaces. In the former reports of the same subject by this author, the temperature distribution was uniform in the axial direction, but in this report, he treats the case that the temperature distribution between the both surfaces of the cylinder is a function of axial coordinate. The stress and strain relation ε=aσ/(a-bσ)(a+b'σ), where ε is strain, σ stress and a,b,b' coefficients of the material, is used. Some numerical examples are given.
