Abstract

It is necessary for hospitals to establish a quality assurance system in the team to improve the quality of healthcare. Therefore, many hospitals are introducing Quality Management System (QMS). Healthcare safety management is a top priority of QMS, and hospitals attach great importance to this. Medical staff will have to acquire knowledge and master skills in healthcare safety management to promote healthcare safety. However, it is difficult to establish an effective education system in hospitals. As a result, the staff lacks good education and training in healthcare safety management. Moreover, implementation of healthcare safety management is difficult. This paper considers concrete educational contents to promote healthcare safety management in relation to the QMS concept. Next, this paper proposes a table of the aforementioned contents. In addition, education and training for healthcare safety management were carried out by using the proposed table. Therefore, the table of educational contents enables hospitals to effectively educate its staff.
