抄録

This paper studies an approximation method for solving the LQ optimal regulator problem for retarded systems. To obtain the optimal control, this method introduces a series of finite-dimensional approximation systems of the original system by the averaging scheme. It is proved that the closed-loop transfer function of the approximation system converges to that of the original closed-loop system. The proof makes full use of the Kalman equation from the complex-analytic point of view.
