Description
The interfacial tensions of five water-hydrocarbon-acetic acid ternary systems, in which the respective hydrocarbons were octane, decane, o-xylene, m-xylene and p- xylene, were measured at various solute (acetic acid) concentrations at 25°C. The results were represented by a correlation model proposed by Cotton as shown previously for the hydrocarbons pentane, hexane, cyclohexane, benzene and toluene.
