Description
The activity of 1-propanol and water in calcium chloride solution and the partial pressure of 1-propanol and water in the 1-propanol-water-calcium chloride system were measured by use of a flow-type apparatus equipped with gas chromatograph at 298.15 K.<BR>The vapor-liquid equilibrium data obtained in this study could be correlated by the empirical model proposed by Hála, and the calculated results reproduced the experimental data within 2.2 % average deviation in vapor-phase mole fraction.
