Abstract
In an OFDM system, each carriers are attanged on minimum carrier spacing which can keep orthogonality between carriers, and the spectrum of an OFDM carrier overlaps with each other. Hence, the carrier frequency offset or the sampling frequency offset easily introduces inter-carrier interference and makes reception characteristics decrease. It is serious problem especially to realize mobile reception, which introduces Doppler shift. Therefore, it is important to realize high-presision and high-speed synchronization in an OFDM system. In this paper, we expand a synchronization technic which utilizes a correlation between cyclical prefix and suffix of the symbol, and propose the new method which utilizes auxiliary signals such as AC or TMCC established in ISDB-T. As the experimental result, it is shown that high-presision and high-speed synchronization was realized by using proposed method.
