Description
LCD drivers for mobile devises reduce power consumption for data transfer with frame memory. According to high definition LCD panel, A mount of data to be stored in frame memory increase. And LCD driver's cost is up for increasing of the memory size. In this paper, a image compression methods of reducing frame memory is proposed. This method compress any images into a half image size. The average PSNR of decompressed images is 47.9dB on YCbCr color space for 15 images in SIDBA (Standard Image Data-BAse).
