Abstract

We showed that wind pressure load on SZ spiral cable is less than on straight cable by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation. Moreover, we optimized parameters such as slit length. We performed a wind tunnel experiment, and got the results that wind pressure load on SZ spiral type is 45% less than on straight type.
