Abstract
A quantization of KANSEI-information is one of the important factors for realization of a human-friendly man-machine interface. Especially, color gives us a variety of impressions. Generally, a removal of the background is needed as preprocessing for the color information extraction. Human being doesn't do such a manner. In this paper, human-like color extraction using visual mechanism is described. Results of the KANSEI information extraction from color images by using the proposed method are discussed.
