Abstract
X-ray that is a kinds of the electromagnetic radiation have been used widely because the its penetrating power and useful cross-sectional image taken by CT method. However, energy (wavelength) information on X rays has not been so used up to now. Material identify imaging that means an atomic number and the density identify, can be taken by X-ray CT with energy information. A highly accurate atomic number identification CT image was able to be obtained in the device that used a general X-ray source by using Photon counting CdTe radiation imager to be able to acquire energy information.
