Abstract

Recently, it is desirable to embed the creation date or the implementor of the image into the image itself in order to manage or handle images easily. However, the method which embeds side information, such as digital watermarking technique degrades image quality. In this paper, we propose the method for embedding data into an image based on adaptive lossless coding which select suitable coding parameter for each block. In our proposed method, data are embedded by using the flexibility of parameter selection and without degrading image quality.
