Description

A system of measurement was designed with a microcomputer, which measured the approximate value of the end-feeding efficiency of the cocoon filament by only measuring the movement of the feeding-end arm in an automatic silk reeling machine. In order to evaluate the performance of the measuring instrument, experiments were conducted in using an automatic silk reeling machine. As a result, it was shown that this method of measurement could be applied to determine the approximate values of the end-feeding efficiency of the cocoon filament. At the same time, it was shown that the measuring instrument could operate and automatically record the values without requiring any manipulation. The measurement process is continuous.
