Description
Aiming at UHDTV (4K/8K) distribution over cable TV networks, a new transmission schemes with a channel bonding technology was considered at Japan Cable Television Engineering Association (JCTEA). In order to confirm the functionality of the channel bonding technology, we conducted experiments with our prototypes based on the transmission scheme on October, 2014. Experimental results discussed in this report were contributed to the Telecommunications Council from JCTEA.
