Abstract
A stacked square microstrip antenna with a shorting pin combined with a ring microstrip antenna is proposed for triple band operation. The two microstrip antennas are excited by an L-probe feed. Antenna characteristics (VSWR and radiation pattern) and operational principle are clarified by simulation. Moreover, the antenna is designed for Wimax (2.5GHz, 3.5GHz and 5.8GHz)
