Description
Nowadays, many kinds of leaky wave antennas using composite right/left-handed transmission line have been reported. Some of them have circular polarization characteristics but tend to be complicated. Therefore circularly polarized leaky wave antenna which has no phase shifter and still has basic comb-shaped unit cell is proposed. In this paper, considering the effect of ground plane, the authors try to generate circular polarization.
