Description
A stacked square microstrip antenna (MSA) with a shorting pin combined with a stacked ring MSA is proposed for quadruple band operation. The two antennas are excited by an L-probe feed. Antenna characteristics (VSWR and radiation pattern) and operational principle are clarified by simulation. Moreover, the antenna is designed for Wi-Fi (2.4/5.2/5.6GHz bands) and 4G mobile communication systems (3.5GHz band)
