Description
Statistical analysis was applied to the relationship between the cocoon properties and the occurrence of feeding ends in the raw silk reeling, and also to the relationship between the cocoon properties and the pseudo-periodicity in the size of raw silk. Standard deviation of the distribution of intervals of feeding ends is in inverse proportion to the object size, when the raw silk is reeled by the same properties of cocoons. The shape of the distribution of intervals of feeding ends depends only on the distributional properties of the first and last size of cocoon filaments, when the raw silk is reeled by the group of cocoons with good properties. The length of the pseudo-periodicity in the size of raw silk and the index of dispersion of the occurrence of feeding ends can be predicted from the properties of cocoons, prior to the raw silk reeling.
