Abstract

This report deals with isotopic properties of ground waters and rocks sampled from the Takisaka landslide area, Fukushima Prefecture. Tritium concentrations of ground waters are the same as that of modern precipitation . Strontium isotope ratios of waters and whole rock samples indicate that ground water in the northern blocks should originate in granite . Oxygen isotope ratio of drainage water in the Numata block is apart from values of the Aga River water and ground water in other blocks . Further investigation and counterpart for ground waters in the northern blocks are required because the movement of these waters is supposed to be derived from peripheral granite zone.
