Description
<p>This paper surveys the recent advances in electromagnetic field analysis of electric power apparatus. The model order reduction and homogenization methods are effective to reduce the computational time. The Play model can express vector hysteresis characteristics with small computational burden. The topology optimization can lead to novel design of electric apparatus. The contactless power transfer and induction heat devices are effectively analyzed by the finite element method.</p>
