Description
In this paper, the authors propose a method for detecting eyes from the facial image by using the genetic algorithms. This method is not influenced against the image obtainment environment, the expression of the face and the change in the directions of the face. The eyes are detected by using the genetic algorithms; the outline of the eye is considered two ovals and the pupil of the eye is considered the circle. Directions of eyes are detected from the relations of the outline of the eye and the eye at the end.
