Abstract
The Electro-Hydraulic Variable Valve Actuation (Camless) System, which is one of the key devices for further improvement of fuel consumption and exhaust emission, was being developed. In this study, multi-cylinder engine testing was conducted, which engine has geometric compression ratio of 20 and camless system, and test results are reported in this paper about improvement effect for fuel consumption and exhaust emission under steady-state and transient operation.
