抄録

Recently, the embedded system including the microprocessor (CPU) with the peripheral circuit was attracted attention. We prepared the experiment materials of the embedded system to learn required subjects such as 'digital circuitry' and 'computer architecture' The system was achieved using FPGA, which is a LSI of single-chip and rewritable. It is small compared to a traditional training board with a lot of chips and is easily reconfigurable. The necessary program for the operation of the system was built in the memory area of FPGA (firmware). Software for the system was developed by a C-compiler through the terminal PC. The single-chip microcomputer embedded in FPGA is available as an experiment course for leading edge technology.
