Abstract

In this study, we made an experiment to study the control of the speed of a wheel with a new brake system composed of a CVT and a brake-energy storage device. The control methods are P (Proportional) control and PI (Proportional and Integral) control. The axis of speed control on the CVT is rotated by a DC servomotor utilized for those control methods. The brake system is different from the system in the previous paper. This system has one oil pump/motor for simplified structure. The previous system had two oil/pumps. In this result, the control of the wheel speed was successful by PI control, but the deviation was because of the PI control.
