説明

The farmers in the KAMIKAWA area construct vinyl houses in February every year. But vinyl houses are destroyed when it snows hard. So we developed a snowfall weight Sensor. This sensor sounds an alarm when the weight of snowfall reaches a set value. The weight sensor consists of a tire, a steel-wheel and IH heater. The IH heater is placed into the steel-wheel, and it heats the wheel. The snowfall over the heated wheel melts into water. This water is pooled into the tire, and turns on a float-switch. When the float-switch is turned on, this sensor sounds an alarm.
