Abstract
The Committee on Elevated Temperature Dasign, which was organized in High Pressure Institute of Japan in 1992, has been conducting studies of introducing the design by analysis method into elevated temperature structural design.<br>The sub-committee on standardization of strength and mechanical properties of materials for elevated temperature design has surveyed how the standard values are defined and specified, and how many data are required for the standardization.<br>This report describes the surbey briefly.
