Abstract

[Purpose] The present study was designed to clarify whether errors in measurement of angles of goniometry are different among sites in digital pictures or digital cameras. [Methods] Four goniometric angles were put on 9 sites on a wall and recorded using 3 cameras. Five physical therapists measured them using graphic software for personal computer. [Results] Intraclass correlation coefficients (1,1) and (2,1) were calculated and showed 1.00 for all sites and cameras. Also, no statistically significant differences were observed in measurement errors for site and camera. [Conclusion] The present results indicate that measurement angle using software may be a useful tool for assessing patients who receive physical therapy.<br>
