抄録

In this paper, high-speed optical devices having quantum well structures are discussed. These include quantum well lasers, quantum-confined Stark effect devices, and Optical-Stark effect devices.<BR>It is expected that use of the quantum well structure leads to new types of ultrafast optical devices.
