Description

The most common method we have employed so far to reduce noise is to insulate the noise source or absorb the noise. However, the noise in the low frequency range tends to spread through diffraction, so that such a method has been insufficient in its effect. Meanwhile, the active noise control lately being developed is still immature in its technology and accordingly its application is yet limited, but provided it is adequately utilized, it is likely to be highly effective against the low frequency noise. It would be the best way of fighting the noise to suppress it by full use of passive control method and resort to active control method to deal with what the passive method cannot eliminate.<br>In this study an application of real time adaptive processing is made on the case of three secondary sources and then theoretical analysis is made. On the other hand there is conceivably a case in reality when the diffraction spread area turns out wides, so the case is theretically analyzed.
