Description

A scheduled operation control system for rolling stock is to make a train arrive at the next station on the scheduled time. This paper proposes a novel system which consists of a predetermined pattern and a control equipment. The pattern defines the relationship between time and the target location of the train. The control equipment compares the target location and the actual train location, and controls the train driving power according to the location difference.
When the train is delayed, the location difference becomes large. However, using this system, the train is accelerated more than the pattern speed. So that it recovers the time delay.
The train driving power is limited by the capacity of the traction circuits. Therefore, the control system is a nonlinear system. The system was analyzed and the compensating calculation method was obtained.
By the simulation, the delay recovering function was proved without causing overshoot and vibration of the driving power.
