Abstract

A 52-year-old woman was admitted due to a traffic accident. The chest CT scan showed a small nodule 4mm in diameter with irregular margins in S2 of the right lung. The chest CT scan 1 month later showed that the nodule had increased to 5 mm in diameter with pleural indentation. As lung cancer could not be ruled out open lung biopsy was performed. Since frozen section diagnosis showed lung cancer right upper lobectomy and lymph node dissection were performed. The pathological diagnosis was well differentiated papillary adenocarcinoma of the lung with no lymph node metastasis.
