Description
Immunopathological studies of salivary glands and lacrymal glands which, through repeated injection of DNA antigens, suffered from injury with the infiltration and proliferation of lymphocytes showed localization (1) C3, (2) C3 and IgG, (3) IgG and T-cells. From these immunopathological observations, it was suggested that the histological changes in the salivary glands and lacrymal glands were due to immunological reactions activated by the immunocomplex of a specific antibody to DNA, DNA antigens and/or ADCC.
