Abstract
In the evaluation test of "Kikaijima shiro goma", which is produced in Komagane, Nagano Prefecture, segregations were observed in the number of fruit capsule axils and bloom fruit bunch per room number. Therefore, we divided "Kikaijima shiro goma" into three types: "4 atrioventricular 2 fruits below", "6 atrioventricular at least 1 fruit", and "4 atrioventricular 3 fruits". On comparing each type, the "4 atrioventricular 3 fruits" type showed high growth and yield. On the other hand, "6 atrioventricular at least 1 fruit" and "4 atrioventricular 2 fruits below" types showed poor growth and yield. Therefore, we suggest that it is useful to select the "4 atrioventricular 3 fruits" type for "Kikaijima shiro goma" improvement.
